Dark Mode

Vowen now supports a full dark mode across the entire app. Choose between light and dark themes to match your environment, with your preference persisting across sessions.

System Audio Capture for Meeting Notes

Meeting notes can now capture system audio alongside screen recording, enabling more complete meeting captures with both visual and audio context.

Improved Transcription Latency

Optimized the transcription pipeline for faster text output — reduced delays in text writing and AppleScript execution for a snappier real-time experience.

Transcription Error Recovery

Failed transcriptions now show a clear error banner with a retry button. Meeting notes are saved before AI processing, so failed generations can be retried directly from the UI without losing your recording.

Windows Hands-Free Mode Shortcut

Changed the default hands-free mode shortcut on Windows to avoid conflicts with system-level key combinations.

Recording Pill Animation

The recording indicator pill now uses a smooth shimmer effect for a more polished visual during active recordings.

Fixes

AI Enhancement Mode Fix

Resolved an issue where AI enhancement mode worked only if command mode was enabled. Now it works without having command mode enabled.

Whisper Server Banner

Fixed the Whisper server health monitoring banner to properly display and dismiss when the local server state changes.
