Workflows: Add applications outside of the main Applications folder

Currently, when only applications from the main Application folder are selectable in the Workflows section. The user's application folder is not selectable as an option. This folder is often used to store web apps, as well as Shortcuts.

Would it be possible to show a dialog box to allow the user to select any application is stored on their file system?
