Allow different Provider for Transcript and AI Mode to combine speed in Transcription and quality in AI
My issue is that I would love the speed of Groq and the AI mode quality of Sonnet.
As Groq does not support Sonnet, I need to decide between the two of those.
So I use Ppenrouter for transcribtion as well as AI Mode.
Would be great if I could select Groq for transcription and OpenRouter for AI Mode.

@Vowen thanks for the quick reply.
I think i need to be more clear. I already can select croq for transcription and Openrouter for AI Agent mode. But when I select Openrouter for AI Agent mode it also does the text enhancing. Would love to do the text enhancing also with Croq and only the AI Agent with Screenrecording with Openrouter.

Hey @Jo , we are working on something called “Modes” that should allow you to configure this. It should be available in one of the coming updates.

We’re thinking of adding an ability to create a mode, and let’s say it’s named “Work”. And once a mode has been created, you can assign which apps / websites you want it to activate it on, or you can also set it as the default. You should also be able to assign a specific transcription model, and AI enhancement model that is supposed to specifically work for this mode. Ideally you can setup as many modes as you’d want and configure specific settings accordingly.
