Live Real-Time Transcription in Floating Pill U

Feature Request

When using the hotkey, the pill UI appears and records speech, but users cannot see what is being typed until it is pasted. This makes it hard to catch mistakes during long dictations.

Please add real-time text preview inside the pill UI while speaking. Once the hotkey is released, the final text can still be pasted into the active text field. This behavior already exists in apps like Spokenly with real-time audio models and would greatly improve accuracy, confidence, and user experience in Vowen

    Just a quick update. This is a preview of how real time transcription looks right now. This was with Soniox real-time transcription. But we are working on adding for Mistral, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, Sarvam, and AssemblyAI APIs. We’ll provide an update once it’s released. Thanks for this, @Akshay thakur

    real time will make a hge difference, especially for long conversations with vide coding tools. I’m visual so i need to see what i’m saying :-)

    Hey@Akshay thakur , thanks for this. We’ll be adding this in v0.1.12, we’re currently releasing a set of additions and fixes in the upcoming release scheduled for release this weekend. We’ll surely add support for this in the release after that. Thanks!
