Separate keyboard shortcut for transcription and enhanced transcription with AI

Feature Request

Firstly, I would like to thank you and congratulate you on how nicely made this app is.

I've only started to use it with basic transcriptions, and so far it's worked brilliantly.

My feature request is for two keyboard shortcut : one for standard transcriptions and another for AI-enhanced transcriptions. Sometimes you just don’t want or need to send it to a cloud AI.

Once again, thank you for this really nice app.

    Hey @Simon , we’ve released v0.2.3 which allows configuring multiple shortcuts for same action. And you can choose between whether those shortcuts have “AI enhancement” enabled or not. Thanks for this suggestion! We’ve found it to be really nifty when we just need to prompt something quickly without AI enhancement, or when dealing with rate limits from Groq, it has really improved the ease of use.

      Question, I Disable Enhance transcription with AI , thereby making my default transcription key just transcribe.

      In Settings > Shortcuts > Transcription Hotkey I set up a secondary hotkey and Enable Enhance transcription with AI.

      So far so good. But when it is Enabled with this secondary hotkey does it use my custom prompt?

      Now, to guarantee that it does I just swap over the hot keys and make the default use AI and the secondary hotkey I disable it.

      But do you see that it can be a little confusing.

        The “Enhance Transcription with AI” is a global setting. But if for a particular hotkey if it’s enabled, then it picks it up from the configured AI model in “Configure your AI” section. The global setting can be overridden on a per shortcut basis, regardless of if the global setting is enabled or not.

        And yes, it should use the custom prompt. But I can see how that can be confusing, we’ll be working on improving the UX of this more for sure in the coming updates. I agree that it is a bit confusing at the moment.
