Support for bullets, quotes, and symbols

Feature Request

  1. Example, when I say hyphen, it actually spells it out versus the symbol.

  2. When I have 1, 2, 3 and speaking as if I'm in a list, would love to have it formatted as such.

  3. Sometimes I'll say “quote unquote” and some phrase. It will just write the word quote and the word unquote.

    Hey @Gymothy, also can you tell us if you have AI enhancement enabled using a cloud provider like Gemini / Groq / Anthropic. These work really well with AI enhancement enabled. The text is not formatted correctly otherwise without AI enhancement enabled.

    Hi @Gymothy Thank you for your feedback. Yes we are aware of this issue.

    We need to implement Inverse Text Normalization to make this work. Currently we are working through it. We will share an update on this by next release.

      Hi team, are we still planning this as default, or is AI enhancement mandatory for formatting? (bullets, numbers, bold…)

        It’s currently not possible to do natively with the local voice models. It has be done through AI enhancement.
